I had Mommy all to myself almost all day today! It was great! I love my brother very much, but it is nice not to have to share Mommy sometimes. We played and I squirmed around the living room a bunch. We cuddled a lot and my belly got lots of kisses. Tommorow we are going to Philadelphia to visit our family, I have never been to Philadelphia, I can't wait! Of course that meant I had to take a bath and boy did I scream! I hate, hate, hate baths!!! At least I never get water in my eyes cause I am always so mad that my back it arched and my head is back.

At first I was jealous when Mommy said Quinn was going swimming today and I couldn't, but then she said it was just like a big bath and I was like "no way!". Quinn is nuts, I don't know why he likes baths so much.

I am not crawling yet, but I can still really get around! Mommy left me on the rug in the living room this morning with a bottle and when I was done drinking I just took off and made it all the way across the room! There was something over there I wanted so I wiggled and rolled my way over.

Today we went downtown to see Pat Winders. She is Quinn's PT, not mine, but she was really impressed with how I am getting around. She was especially impressed with my pivoting! Me and Mommy cheered Quinn on while he practiced walking. He did pretty good, he makes me proud to be his little brother!

After PT we drove around looking at houses for a while. I am so glad Mommy got me my new comfy carseat or I wouldn't have liked being in the car that long!

We went to Grandma Jan's house today! I like going to Grandma Jan's, but I really hate the bath I have to take before we go over there! Mommy doesn't understand why I scream like I do during baths, she just doesn't get it.

They had this really cool reindeer in a rocking chair that sang this funny song. I really liked watching it go over and over, Quinn didn't seem to like it much at all though. We went out to dinner tonight and it was the first time I went to a restraunt without my infant carseat. I am not quite ready for a regular restraunt highchair yet, so Grandma had to hold me! I am not complaining, but she did a little:)

All in all it was a really fun day! Tommorow is my first Christmas Eve...I can't wait!

I was such a good boy today! When I woke Mommy up this morning and she was too tired, she just handed me my bottle in my crib and went back to sleep! Fine with me! I was hungry so I drank my whole bottle all alone, played for a little bit, then fell back asleep.

Today I really concentrated on crawling. I really want to crawl and I tried to get over to Quinn while he was playing. Something didn't work right though, so I ended up going backwards halfway across the living room! Oh well, at least I am moving! I will figure it all out soon enough.

This afternoon Grandma Jan came over and watched me while Mommy and Quinn went for a walk. I would have liked to go with them, but I had a great time playing and cuddling with Grandma!

I was still a little cranky today, those shots really messed me up! All I wanted was for Mommy to hold me all day long. I wouldn't hold my own bottle, unless she was holding me...then I did. I didn't even take a proper nap!

Mommy was feeding me some applesauce this afternoon and I was really enjoying it. In fact, I liked it so much I tried to grab the spoon right out of Mommy's hand and feed myself! Mommy said sometimes I move to fast and I really need to slow down. I ate two solid meals today, applesauce and oatmeal, I am getting pretty good at it! Mommy offered me a piece of her bread today at dinner, but I wasn't in the mood.

We did get to go for a walk today during Quinn's PT session. I really liked it, even though it was a little cold out. I like looking around at everything!

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you about the really cool thing I did at the doctors office today! I held my own bottle the whole time and drank it all by myself!!! Mommy just layed me on the table and handed me the bottle and I grabbed it and put it in my mouth. I've been secretly able to do that for a while now, I am just lazy!

I had to go to the doctor today and it was not fun! Everything went great until I had to get all those shots! Oh well, Mommy says Quinn had to go through that all too when he was my age. He really shouldn't have laughed at me when I started crying though!

So I am doing really good! The doctor said everything looked great and that my heart still sounds perfect. He assumed I was sitting on my own cause I was so strong. Mommy explained to him that I don't because I don't want to. He said it must be genetic! He wasn't worried at all cause I can roll and stand so good and cause I am on the verge of crawling. The best thing he said was that next time I want pizza Mommy can give it to me! I can have anything except eggs, shellfish, and nuts. But Mommy says that all you grandparents better ask first before you give me anything new, or you are gonna be in big trouble!!!

We went to the playground this morning and it was really fun! I got to sit in the front seat of the stroller and watch all the kids playing. Boy, were there a lot of kids there! It was a really nice day and a really cool playground, so I am not surprised. I stayed in my stroller for a little while, but then I decided I wanted to snuggle with Mommy. Then we went chasing Quinn all over the playground and that was fun.

Tonight we went to Grandma Jan's and went to see the trains at the mall. I didn't really see them cause I was drinking a bottle most of the time. I liked being out and about though. When we got back to Grandma's she put me on the floor on my belly. Guess what I did? I got up on my hands and knees! It was just for a second but for some reason it really scared Mommy. She says she doesn't want two crawlers, well sorry Mom, but it looks like you are going to get that anyway!

I was such a good boy this morning! I stayed in my stroller and didn't fuss at all during the Mom's Club meeting. I even fell asleep while we were there and then still took a nap when we got home! I didn't mind sitting in the stroller cause there were lots of other babies to look at. I wish I could have stayed in the nursery and played with the big kids, but I am still too little.

When Daddy got home he played with me a bunch. That was really nice cause I don't get to see him enough!

I was a tired boy today! Mommy even had to wake me up so we could go to Quinn's meeting. I was a little cranky at the meeting. I didn't want to sit in the stroller so Mommy took me out and held me on her lap. I grabbed her paper and tried to eat it, but she took it away! Oh well, at least it was a quick meeting.

Tonight Mommy took my socks off and layed me on the floor so I could play with my feet. Before I could even grab them Portia came over and started licking them! It tickled and made me laugh. I used to not like it when Portia licked me, but now I think it is funny!

Mommy didn't seem to have a lot of time for me today! She was so busy with Quinn, I don't think I got nearly enough kisses. She even woke me up from a really good nap so we could take Quinn to therapy. But I am a really good little brother and I barely even complained! It was so neat seeing the horses, but I was a little jealous that I didn't get to ride on one too. I really liked being outside and it was a really nice day. I am glad Mommy got me my new carseat cause it was a really long ride out to the farm and my old one wasn't as comfortable.

Tommorow we only have one Quinn thing to do, so I know Mommy will give me all those extra kisses and cuddles she didn't have time for today!

I must be going through another growth spurt! I have been eating like crazy the last few days. Last night I ate 10 oz. right before I went to sleep...and I still woke up twice during the night to eat!!! I hardly ever wake up at night anymore, and I usually only drink 4 oz before I go to bed. Before you know it I am gonna be out of my 12 month clothes!!

Mommy gave me a bath this morning and had me sit in the upright bathseat. She thought I might like that better....but no...I still screamed bloody murder the whole time. So if you ever notice that I am a little bit stinky, now you know it is cause I hate baths and Mommy doesn't like to torture me too often!

We went over to Grandma Jan's house today. It was fun. I always have a great time when we go there!

I hung out with Daddy most of the day today cause Mommy was busy with Quinn. That is okay, I love hanging out with Daddy! We all went to Quinn's speech class and everyone made a big deal about how cute I am. I am pretty cute! We went to the mall and that was fun. I was really jealous that Quinn got to eat McDonalds, all I got was a bottle! Mommy said maybe in a few weeks I can suck on a french fry. It didn't help that Mommy forgot to bring a Zwieback for me! I did get to play with the happy meal toy though, so that made me happy.

I don't like the cold, when we got home my cheeks were all red and I bet they still will be tommorow!

I have finally discovered my feet! The good news is that they are really cool and they are another thing I can put in my mouth. The bad news is.....they taste like feet!

This morning we went to a playdate and it was pretty fun. I really loved watching all the kids run around and play. They didn't have any little baby toys though, and Mommy never remembers to bring any for me! Their house looked just like ours, just nicer and cleaner!

I wasn't in such a good mood this afternoon. My belly was upset. I had two really nasty diapers and I threw up all over Mommy! But after I got that out of the way I felt much better! Quinn's PT came over and she gave him something to help him walk. Mommy says we have to be extra careful that he doesn't run me over while he is in it though!

Tonight I met Santa for the first time. We went to a party and he was there! I got my picture taken with him too. It was a really fun party and I had a great time watching everything for my place in the Baby Bjorn. When Mommy tried to eat a piece of pizza I got really upset though! I wanted some too! I started yelling and opening my mouth and trying to grab the pizza right out of her hand! She said I couldn't have any yet because I am not ready....I sure felt ready! It looked yummy!

Grandma Donna and Grandpop Bill came over tonight. I showed Grandma how good I am at eating my zwieback toast, I think she was impressed! It was really fun seeing them, I love cuddling with Grandma Donna! Besides that it was a pretty boring day. I just spend all my time watching Mommy and Quinn play, I can't wait until I am big enough to join in!!

I ate semi-solid food today for the first time, and I like it! Mommy noticed that I have been getting impatient when she puts me in my highchair so she can feed Quinn. So she got me something called Zwieback Toast to chew on. It is really yummy and it feels really nice on my gums. Mommy handed it to me and I knew exactly what to do with it! I chewed on it while Quinn was having breakfast and I ate half of it by the time he was done! Then I found out what happens to food in this house when it falls on the floor...Portia ate it! She really likes Zwieback Toast too! I also had sweet potatoes for dinner, I am becoming an expert eater. I still love my bottle though!

I rode in my new carseat today! It was really comfy and I liked it a lot. I was even less fussy in the car than I usually am! We went to Quinn's gymnastics class today. Mommy wore me in the Baby Bjorn and I had a great time watching all the kids. I hope we can go back when I am big enough to participate!!!

I had sweet potatoes for lunch today. I think I am finally really getting this eating thing. I opened my mouth for almost every bite and didn't push as much back out with my tounge like I usually do!

Mommy didn't bring any toys with us to the party. So I got to play with keys!!!

I had a good day. I hung out with Daddy and Quinn this morning. Then I took a nice long nap. When I got up Mommy dressed me up really cute and we went to Grandma Jan's. I showed her how I am getting so good at rolling over and grabbing things. She was so impressed and amazed at how much I had changed in only one week. I am pretty amazing! We went to the mall and I had a great time riding in the stroller and watching all the kids play.

Mommy and Daddy got me a new carseat tonight. Hopefully this one will be more comfortable, my old one is just too small for me now!

We had such a busy day that I didn't get a good nap. I am such a cranky baby when I don't get my nap!!! I was pretty good at Quinn's doctor and therapy appointments, but when we got home I was a real cranky pants. Mommy tried to put me to sleep but I just wouldn't do it. Finally she came and got me and I watched her and Quinn play for a while in his room. I calmed myself down by grabbing Quinn's pjs and chewing on them. I felt kinda bad cause when he had to put them on to go to sleep the arm was all wet with my drool! They were yummy though!

Today was really fun. We went to Kennedy Krieger and I watched Quinn walk around in this weird walker thing. Mommy forgot to bring in the Baby Bjorn so she had to carry me! Apparently I am heavy, cause she kept complaining. She should just give me one of those walker things like Quinn had, I am so ready for that!

Grandma Donna came over tonight. It was fun seeing her. She is helping Mommy get my room ready. They got all of the office junk out of there tonight. She turned off my soothing sounds and Mommy forgot to turn them back on. I must not need them anymore, I am growing up so fast!

I ate bananas for dinner tonight. I did the best job yet of opening my mouth for the spoon. I have been watching Quinn closely when he eats and trying to be more like him, minus the spitting of course!

I was a really good boy today! I took a good nap and didn't fuss during Quinn's PT at all. I really like going to the playground cause Mommy wears me in the Baby Bjorn. I am silly because even though I am strong enough to face out, I want to still face Mommy! I just like to be able to keep an eye on her and I can still watch everything out the side instead of the front. It is like a really long hug when she wears me!

I got to play in Quinn's room tonight! Mommy laid me on a blanket and I squirmed so much I wasn't even near that blanket 10 minutes later. It doesn't count as crawling because I was on my back. Every time Quinn came near me Portia would come over and lay in front of me. If Quinn tried to touch me she growled at him! I guess she was protecting me, what a sweet puppy!

I am officially a belly sleeper and it is freaking Mommy out! She is so silly, always worrying about my breathing. She said she never worried about Quinn's breathing when he slept on his belly...but he was a better roller than I am. It is funny cause I hate being on my belly, but every night I roll over and fall asleep on my stomach.

Today was fun. I enjoyed watching Quinn with his therapists. Then I had a good time playing in my jumper for a while. I took a nice long nap too! It was a good day!

Today was really fun! Grandma Donna and Grandpop Bill came over and we all took a long car ride to visit my second cousin, Wylde. His parents were having a big party for him and since we had never met him we all went! He is a cool kid, only a month or so older than me and already sitting on his own and walking holding hands!!! I was pretty impressed!

It was fun to see everyone and especially fun to hang out with Grandma and Grandpop all day!

The best part of my day was when Mommy went out and bought me my very own jumper! It is so cool. It hangs in the door to the living room and I can bounce and bounce and bounce! I love, love, love it! Mommy will post some video of me jumping soon...she promises!

I ate a good amount of applesauce for dinner tonight. Mommy sat me up straight in my highchair and I definately prefer that. I even moved my mouth towards the spoon a couple of times, but I am still not opening wide or keeping most of the food in my mouth. Oh well, I will get it someday!

I rolled over today! When Mommy came to get me up from my nap I was on my belly, and I know Daddy put me down on my back. I must have done it in my sleep....I would never do something like that on purpose!

We went to Grandma Donna's house for Thanksgiving and I ate real sweet potatoes. Mommy didn't think I would like it, but Grandma Jan tried anyway and they were great! Next year I am eating a drumstick!!! I just gotta grow some teeth first.
