Cooper tried solids for the first time today. He wasn't ready because he pushed it all back out with his tounge! We will try again next week.

As you can see from my pictures, there has been a lot of excitement around here lately! I have been pretty good, mostly just going along with everything. I actually had fun at Grandma Donna's party. I got passed around a lot and most those people were walking around so I liked that. I got to meet my Great Grandma Joan, she is my last major relative that I haven't met. I had a great time watching Grandma Donna unwrap presents! I can't wait until Christmas...I hear there is usually a lot of that during that time of year.

Great Grandma Berta has also been visiting. That has been great and we are really bonding! She thinks I don't remember her, but I remember that accent....she is the only person who talks to me like that!! She said she thinks I am just "Jummy" whatever that means! :)

Sometimes being a baby isn't a lot of fun. Today instead of going to this really cool Halloween party with Mommy and Quinn I had to stay home with Daddy! Not that I don't love hanging out with Daddy, but the party sounds like it was fun. Mommy says when I get a little bigger and more independent she will take me with her and Quinn...even when Daddy has the day off. I can't wait!

I did get to spend a lot of quality time with Daddy today. He also put new batteries in my new excersaucer thing and now it is even more fun! My old excersaucer is down in the basement now so I can play while Mommy surfs the net. I like the basement, lots of new things to look at!

Tommorow I get to go to Grandma Jan's house. I can't wait to get some of those good cuddles!

I got to try out all my new toys today! Yup, I got new toys last night! Poor Quinn, all he got were a bunch of clothes, but I am a good brother...I let him play with my toys too. I got a new kind of excersaucer. It is long, not round and I can walk up and down (when I figure out how), and when I take steps it plays the piano (or it will when Daddy puts new batteries in). So today Mommy put me in it and Quinn came over and showed me how all the stuff on it worked. Then he started handing me my other toys so I could play with them. Mommy was really proud of us for playing together so nicely! I also got another toy that I lay under and kick and hit the hanging stuff to make it go. I am a bit too tall for it already, but that is okay...it transforms into a sitting up toy when I learn to sit up.

Mommy thinks I am outgrowing my bouncy seat already! Everytime she puts me in it I try to sit upright!

Grandma Donna came over tonight and we all went on a big adventure! We went to the supermarket and I rode in the cart in my carseat. I really liked it, my eyes were open really wide the whole time and I was just taking everything in. Then we went to Shawna's house and I got kissed by a big dog. I also got to look at some really cool fish. Best of all I got to cuddle with Grandma Donna! It was a really fun night!

Today was pretty fun. Quinn's therapists came over, but he wouldn't cooperate so they payed a bunch of attention to me...yay! Then I decided to give Mommy a break (she looked tired), so I took a nice long nap. When I woke up we went out for a playdate and it was really fun. There was another little baby there who was the same age as me. He was much better behaved than I am though...no screaming and crying at all! He had some really cool toys, much cooler than mine, no wonder he is so happy! We cooed a little bit at each other and Quinn and his brother played a bunch. It was lots of fun, but it will be funner when I am old enough to really play.

I was really drooly today. I wonder if I am getting some teeth! That would be cool cause Mommy's lunch looked really yummy today. Mommy says I have to start with rice cereal first...now doesn't that sound appetizing?

I had a good time watching Quinn play today and also doing some playing of my own. Me and Mommy read a bunch of books, I think books are my new favorite things. Tommorow I switch to 8 oz bottles, I hope I can handle it!

Today was a good day. We went to Grandma Jan's house and it was lots of fun. We played "Footy Cake" (Patty Cake with my feet) and that always makes me smile. I got a new cute outfit from Grandma's friend and a book and a little toy. I liked the toy a lot. We went on a walk and I loved it. I really like being outside, but I really don't like it when the stroller stops!

I had such a fun day that I didn't want to go to sleep! I stayed up until 11 PM and made Mommy hold me for a long time before I finally fell asleep. That is really unusual for me!

Mommy and Quinn are both sick! I feel bad for them, I am glad I haven't gotten sick yet. I decided to give Mommy a break and took two naps today and then went to bed early. I think she really appreciated it! Did I tell you I don't sleep swaddled anymore? Mommy is weaning off the swaddle blanket with a sleep sack. It is like a little sleeping bag with holes for my arms. I really like it! It keeps me wark and cuddly but I can still wake up and suck on my hands or play with my toy. Mommy and me read a book today and I really paid attention, I can't wait until I am old enough to turn the pages myself!

I had a good day today. I played a bunch in my excersaucer and got to watch The Wiggles with Quinn. Mommy showed me this cool toy that you push the top and all these balls spin around inside. I just loved it and I grabbed the sides and smiled at the balls. I am getting better at playing with stuff everyday! Besides that I spent a lot of time cuddling with Mommy today and just generally being a smiley boy.

I went to the doctor today, and it really sucked! They gave me four shots and it hurt!!! I was pretty cranky the rest of the day and then I went to sleep early.

As for my stats... I was 15 pounds 4 ounces! Not as big as Mommy thought I would be, but still big! I was also 25 1/4 inches long! I am such a big boy, that is 65 percentile length and 70 percentile weight! Dr. Crawford was really impressed when Mommy told him how I can stand so well in the excersaucer. He said most 4 months old can't do that and I must have great trunk strength. He said I look really healthy and the only suggestion he had for Mommy was to wash my hair with Head & Shoulders for my cradle cap. He did say that I can try solid food anytime now, but that I am probably not really ready yet since I still stick my tounge out too much. Maybe in a few weeks...

I spent a lot of time with Daddy today, but I was still a pretty good boy. I ate tons of formula, I am still making up for that day Mommy made me use the fast nipples. I had a lot of fun today. I watched football with Daddy. I stood at the leapfrog table (with help from Mommy) with Quinn and we made music together. I also discovered my foot and tried to put it in my mouth!

The most exciting thing that happened today was that I finally got my own room! Daddy moved the office out of my room and now it is all mine! It isn't done yet, but at least now my rocking chair is in there. I love rocking with Mommy before I go to sleep and now I can do it in my very own room!

Well, the whole "fast nipple" thing didn't go so well. I really really really didn't like them! It isn't like I choaked or anything, I just liked the way the old nipples worked. Mommy made me use those new nipples for a whole day and then finally gave up! I am a happy boy again because I have my nice old slow nipples back. Mommy says she is going to try again some other time because she really liked how fast I took my bottles with the new nipples. Note to Mommy: just because I don't have an extra chromosome like my brother don't assume that everything will come easy to me!

We went to Grandma Jan's house tonight. It was really fun! We went to the mall and GASP!, she put me in an umbrella stroller! As if that wasn't bad enough she also put me in a mall highchair! I didn't mind the stroller at all, but I wasn't too thrilled with the highchair...I am just not ready. That's okay, I still love you Grandma Jan...and Mommy isn't really mad she is just messing with you!

I was one fussy baby today! I think it was because I didn't take a very good nap. I also missed Daddy. I was also kinda mad that I had to share Mommy! Thank goodness it is a three day weekend coming up. I'm gonna get all kinds of attention from Daddy, Mommy, and Grandma Jan!!! I did have a good time playing in my excersaucer today. I also did some serious flirting with Quinn's speech teacher. She said that she loved babies and Mommy offered me to her for a few hours...can you believe that! She declined, said she loves looking at babies, not taking care of fussy ones. That's okay, I think Mommy was kidding anyway.

Tommorow I am switching to fast flow nipples...wish me luck!!!

We went to a Halloween party today! I was gonna dress up as a bat, but then Mommy realized that in my bat costume wouldn't work with the baby carrier! We couldn't have that because I absolutely must be attached to Mommy at all times when we are out!!! So just as it was looking like I had to go to a Halloween party with no costume (how embarrassing!), Mommy remembered this cool outfit she had in the back of the closet. Then two miracles occured...1) She actually was able to find it in that mess of a closet. 2) It fit me perfectly even though it was a size 6-9 months. It was a cute little sweatsuit with a hood like a lion and a little tail on the back! Mommy put it on me with a pair of pumpkin socks and viola! I was the cutest baby there!

I had a great time at the party. Me and Mommy chased Quinn around as usual. I really liked seeing all the kids in their costumes and I got lots of attention cause I am just so darn cute! Plus there were lots of really cute baby girls there around my age...they better watch out cause I am gonna be a real heartbreaker!

Mommy and Quinn dragged me all over Catonsville today...what a pain! All I wanted was for Mommy to hold me and feed me, but instead we went to two different playgrounds and watched Quinn play. Both times Mommy tried to leave me in my stroller and I said no way! So she had to strap me on to her with the Baby Bjorn, good thing I like that. I did kind of enjoy watching all the kids playing though. Lindalee said she thinks I am big enough to swing in the baby swing at the park now, but Mommy doesn't think so. She should listen to Lindalee, she is the expert! I want to have some fun too!

I love my excersaucer! I figured out how to turn around in a circle today. Now when I get tired of one toy I can just move on to the next. I even figured out how to turn the little wheel toy that is on there. I enjoyed today. We went out a bunch and I really liked looking all around and riding in the stroller. Can't wait to see what we do tommorow!

Mommy says I must be going through a major growth spurt. That is why I woke up starving at 3 AM and then drank almost twice as much formula today as I usually do! I need to grow another couple of inches because even though I love it, I am still a bit too short for my excersaucer....it sure is fun though!!

I was a really good boy today! I slept in late and then took a good nap. That means that when we went to Grandma Jan's house I wasn't cranky. I didn't scream and cry the whole time like I usually do. It helped that we went out to the mall. I had a great time looking at everything and watching all the kids play. It was lots of fun, I really can't wait until I can get down and crawl all around the play area too!

I cracked Grandma up today cause when she layed me down on the sofa I would try to sit back up. I just can't see as well when I am not sitting! Grandma got me this really cool o-ball that is shaped like a football. I loved it!! Mommy says if I have future quarterback written all over me...but I thought my shirt said OshKosh B'Gosh on it, oh well!

Not much happened today. I slept late cause it was dark and rainy, Mommy seemed to appreciate that. I wasn't too interested in sitting up today and kept doing "the Quinn" and throwing myself backwards. I did do a really good job at tummy time though! I am starting to even like it a little. I love my new mini boppy. Grandma Donna stopped by after work and cuddled me a little...that was nice. Tommorow we go to Grandma Jan's house, I haven't decided if I am going to be good or not yet!

Today was exciting! We went on a trip to a farm with Grandma Donna and it was pretty cool. When we got there Mommy put me facing out in the Baby Bjorn so I could see everything. I thought the chickens were really exciting and I started talking to them. By the time we went to get on the hayride I was really hungry so I got fussy. It was perfect timing cause Mommy fed me while we took a ride around the farm. It was a really bumpy ride and it not only helped me burp but it also put me to sleep! I slept for most of the rest of the trip.

When we got home Mommy decided to just try and see what would happen if she sat me on the floor. Well, I stayed sitting! Mostly. I am not a great sitter yet cause I usually either fold forward or fall to the side. But I am pretty good for a 15 week old! I love sitting, it is by far my favorite position to be in!

We had a fun day. I got to cuddle again with Autumn and Leslie before they left this morning. Leslie told Mommy that she needs to hang some prisms in the dining room for me to look at. Sounds neat, I think I would like rainbows! We went to playgroup and then to the mall. All that driving made me poop and by the time we got to the mall I was screaming to have my diaper changed! Thank goodness for Nordstrom, they have a really nice mother's lounge with a nice padded changing table for me. After Mommy took care of that little problem we went to the play area. We had to stay with Quinn so Mommy put me in the Baby Bjorn. She put me facing out for the first time ever (yes, my head control is that good now!). It was awesome! I really like looking at Mommy and all, but watching all those kids play was really fun.

Tonight I came dangerously close to sitting on my own for a few seconds. Can you believe it? Mommy had me on her lap and the boppy was behind me and she let go for a minute and I balanced really well. I loved it! I love to sit and stand and I can't wait until I can do both of those things whenever I want!

I slept in really late today! It made Mommy pretty happy. We had a fun day and we even got to take a nice walk down to the playground. Quinn did PT with Lindalee and I just hung out in the shade and looked around. It looked like a really fun place, I can't wait until I am big enough to play there!

Then Grandma Donna and Grandpop Bill came over. Grandpop was being really goofy and might have even made me laugh! Mommy wasn't sure it was a real laugh, but that Grandpop is a funny guy! I also got to meet Cousin Autumn, Aunt Leslie, and Uncle Jeff for the first time. I got to cuddle with Autumn and Leslie and it was great. Mommy will post some pictures of us tommorow.

Well, my crib isn't as comfy without the bumper pads in it! I woke up crying at 3 AM cause my head was pushed up against the wooden side spokes, ouch. Now Mommy puts my feet at the end of the crib so hopefully that won't happen again. I had a pretty good day today, nothing too exciting happened.

I love love love my new crib! I slept all night last night and didn't even get up until 9AM! And even then I didn't really cry, I was so happy to be in my cool crib with it's awesome mobile! I had so much fun in there last night. Mommy knows I had fun cause when she put me down I was parallel to the long side of the crib (like in the picture), but when she saw me in the morning I was perpendicular! I was still completely swaddled though, so she is kinda confused how that happened. Cause I am already moving around so much Mommy had to take out the bumper pads. Just wait until I get my arm stuck a few times...she'll put them back!

I had a fun day today. Me and Daddy watched the football game and the Ravens won at the last minute, it was so exciting! Then we all went out to dinner and to the mall. I was a really good boy the whole time!!!
